  you want it is extremely diverse – made all the more expressive by its
  blindingly fast V8 JavaScript engine. From simple parameter changes to
  complex applets, here are 10 handy hacks to whip Chrome into shape.<br />
<strong>1.  Get more Omnibox suggestions</strong><br />
When you enter a search  term into Chrome's Omnibox URL <a href="" id="Y3423139S7" style="color: #000fff; text-decoration: underline;">bar</a>,
 it creates a pull-down list of  suggestions for matching sites. 
However, this is limited to a maximum of  five sitesby default, which is
 a bit restrictive. This hack lets you  increase that number.<br />
Right-click
 on the Chrome icon (even the one  on the Windows Start menu) and select
 'Properties'. In the resulting  window, find the Target text box, add a
 space at the end of the line and  the following text: <br />
-omnibox-popup-count=30<br />
This will  extend the dropdown menu to 30 items, but you can change this to suit  your needs. <br />
<strong>2. Remove just your recent surfing history</strong><br />
The
  sites you've been visiting will be suggested in the browser's Omnibox.
  This can pose a problem if you share your PC with other people. If, 
for  instance, you've been looking for a present for someone, it could <a href="" id="Y3423139S1" style="color: #000fff; text-decoration: underline;">spoil</a>
  the surprise. You could clear the browsing data, but this will clear 
out  everyone else's history, too. You could temporarily switch to 
Incognito  mode to ensure that no search data is recorded, but if you 
forget, you  have the same problem. <br />
However, a small, free utility called <a href="http://www.parhelia-tools.com/products/gcb/googlechrome.aspx">Google  Chrome Backup</a> (GCB) by Pharelia Tools lets you create a <a href="" id="Y3423139S0" style="color: #000fff; text-decoration: underline;">backup</a>
 of  your browser's profile and restore it again later, thereby rolling 
back  Chrome's search history to the point at which you backed it up. To
 use  the utility, open its zip file, <a href="" id="Y3423139S5" style="color: #000fff; text-decoration: underline;">extract</a> 'gcb.exe' and run the  executable. <br />
Using the program to cover your tracks is very  simple. <a href="" id="Y3423139S6" style="color: #000fff; text-decoration: underline;">Before you</a>
 begin surfing, press the 'Run Wizard' button. A  second window will 
appear. Ensure that 'Backup' is selected and press  'Next'. Select the 
default profile and press 'Next' again. Browse for  somewhere to place 
the backup of the default profile (a USB key, for  example, on which you
 could also conveniently store GCB for use on  public <a href="" id="Y3423139S9" style="color: #000fff; text-decoration: underline;">PCs</a>), and press 'Back up'. The backup takes a second or two, but  you'll have to close the window by hand.<br />
After
 you've finished  your confidential browsing session, to roll back the 
profile (thereby  removing just your recent browsing history for this 
session), run GCB  again; press the 'Run Wizard' button, select 
'Restore' and press 'Next'.  Browse for your saved file and press 'Next'
 again. Make sure that  you're <a href="" id="Y3423139S2" style="color: #000fff; text-decoration: underline;">restoring</a>
 to the default profile, press 'Next' again and finally  hit the 
'Restore' button. You'll be asked to confirm the procedure,  after which

<strong>3. Use  Stumbleupon</strong><br />
Stumbleupon

Early 1990s<br />

<b>Kevin Mitnick</b>, often incorrectly called by many as god of hackers, broke into<br />
the computer systems of the world’s top technology and telecommunications<br />
companies Nokia, Fujitsu, Motorola, and Sun Microsystems. He was arrested by<br />
the FBI in 1995, but later released on parole in 2000. He never termed his<br />
activity hacking, instead he called it social engineering.<br />

November 2002<br />

Englishman <b>Gary McKinnon</b> was arrested in November 2002 following an accusation<br />
that he hacked into more than 90 US military computer systems in the UK. He is<br />
currently undergoing trial in a British court for a “fast-track extradition” to<br />
the US where he is a wanted man. The next hearing in the case is slated for<br />
today.<br />

1995<br />

Russian computer geek <b>Vladimir Levin</b> effected what can easily be called The<br />
Italian Job online – he was the first person to hack into a bank to extract<br />
money. Early 1995, he hacked into Citibank and robbed $10 million. Interpol<br />
arrested him in the UK in 1995, after he had transferred money to his accounts<br />
in the US, Finland, Holland, Germany and Israel.<br />

1990<br />

When a <b>Los Angeles</b> area radio station announced a contest that awarded a<br />
Porsche 944S2 for the 102nd caller, Kevin Poulsen took control of the entire<br />
city’s telephone network, ensured he is the 102nd caller, and took away the<br />
Porsche beauty. He was arrested later that year and sentenced to three years in<br />
prison. He is currently a senior editor at Wired News.<br />

1983<br />

<b>Kevin Poulsen again</b>. A little-known incident when Poulsen, then just a student,<br />
hacked into Arpanet, the precursor to the Internet was hacked into. Arpanet was<br />
a global network of computers, and Poulsen took advantage of a loophole in its<br />
architecture to gain temporary control of the US-wide network.<br />

1996<br />

US hacker <b>Timothy Lloyd</b> planted six lines of malicious software code in the<br />
computer network of Omega Engineering which was a prime supplier of components<br />
for NASA and the US Navy. The code allowed a “logic bomb” to explode that<br />
deleted software running Omega’s manufacturing operations. Omega lost $10<br />
million due to the attack.<br />

1988<br />

Twenty-three-year-old Cornell University graduate <b>Robert Morris</b> unleashed the<br />
first Internet worm on to the world. Morris released 99 lines of code to the<br />
internet as an experiment, but realised that his program infected machines as<br />
it went along. Computers crashed across the US and elsewhere. He was arrested<br />
and sentenced in 1990.<br />

1999<br />

The Melissa virus was the first of its kind to wreak damage on a global scale.<br />
Written by David Smith (then 30), Melissa spread to more than 300 companies<br />
across the world completely destroying their computer networks. Damages<br />
reported amounted to nearly $400 million. Smith was arrested and sentenced to<br />
five years in prison.<br />

2000<br />

MafiaBoy, whose real identity has been kept under wraps because he is a minor,<br />
hacked into some of the largest sites in the world, including eBay, Amazon and<br />
Yahoo between February 6 and Valentine’s Day in 2000. He gained access to 75<br />
computers in 52 networks, and ordered a Denial of Service attack on them. He<br />
was arrested in 2000.<br />

1993<br />

They called themselves Masters of Deception, targeting US phone systems. The<br />
group hacked into the National Security Agency, AT&T, and Bank of America. It<br />
created a system that let them bypass long-distance phone call systems, and<br />

 To bring out the Shortcuts on your Screen/Desktop-> 
Settings/Personal/Home Screen/Home Screen Theme and select Shortcut bar,
 you can then select which shortcut to display if goto "Shortcuts". This
 will also bring out the "Track" playing being displayed when you open 
the Music Player.<br /><br />2. Tap the Clock to bring out the Clock menu and make your alarm, alarm repeat is now built-in.<br /><br />3. Tap the "General" or Date (the set Profile besides the clock) and the Profile selection menu pops out, almost<br /><br />similar
 to pressing the "Power" button in all S60, but here the Remove memory 
is not shown, but "Calendar" shortcut is included and the other profiles
 as well.<br /><br />4. If you are on the Numeric Keypad, pressing the [#] 
key alternately will toggle the General and Silent Profiles, same as 
before, which means long press on zero [0] will bring out bookmarks for 
the Web.<br /><br />5. Tapping on the displayed To do or Calendar entry will bring you immediately to that particular item.<br /><br />6. Tapping the Active Icon on the Top Left (near the battery indicator) will give you shortcuts for any of the active icons.<br /><br />7. Long press on the Green Call Button will still activate the Voice Command Prompt<br /><br />8.
 Long press on the center button is similar to the Long press on the 
"Menu" key (the yin-yang key on most S60) which will bring out the menu

touch input is not accurate, you could calibrate your screen at Touch 
Input-> Touch Screen Calibration -> ( Tap around the 4 dots at the
 corner)<br /><br />7. Turning control functions:<br />a. Rotate your screen horizontal or vertical<br />b. Silence your phone for incoming call by rotate your phone with screen facing down.<br />c. Snooze the alarm by rotating phone screen facing down<br /><br />8.
 Theme effect will give 3D and transition effect if on but will slow 
down your tube considerably. Settings -> Personal -> Themes -> 
General -> Themes effects -> On/Off<br /><br />9. Shortcut to exit 
application : Press and hold the middle white button then press and hold
 the program that you wish to quit, an open/exit option will pop out 
(useful for those haven’t install handy taskman yet)<br /><br />10. When using handwriting input, slide from left to right is Spacebar, right to left is Backspace<br /><br />11.
 Organize your menu by Menu -> option -> organize. You could drag 
and drop the location of the application you wish to relocate.<br /><span style="color: red; font-weight: bold;">Battery saving Tips:</span><br />1. Always turn off wireless scanning, Blue-tooth when not in use<br /><br />2.
 For those not using 3G, choose your network mode to “GSM” instead of 
“Dual mode” which will consume more battery. Settings -> Connectivity
 -> Network mode -> GSM<br /><br />3. Less Display Light<br />a. Setting -> Phone -> Display -> light sensor (move the slider to the left)<br />b.
 Setting -> Phone -> Display -> Light Time-Out (lesser time to 
save battery but annoying if too short while you are playing games)<br /><br />4.
 Always terminate the application properly that is not using by using 
Option ->Exit. It might be running background and consuming battery 
which you don’t know.<br /><br /><span style="color: red; font-weight: bold;">Memory Saving Tips:</span><br />1.
 Restart your phone if the memory less than 30MB, you could either soft 
reset (User a dialer and dial 5 * * then call) or hard reset by pressing
 the power button<br /><br />2. Use Handy Taskman to close all application regularly or kill application that is not in use.<br /><br /><span style="color: red; font-weight: bold;">Camera & Picture tips:</span><br />1. Some noise could be reduced if set the ISO sensitivity to low instead of auto.<br /><br />2.

of mobile phone theft, which has increased exponentially over the last
