computer for browsing the Internet? Well, of course it becomes your
responsibility to ensure that your child is accessing good websites and
the content is relevant to your child’s age. But, you do not have to
hoveryour children every moment, because it can make your child feel
uncomfortable. Sometimes your child needs to be alone and be given the
responsibility to do something.
To guide your child to avoid accessing websites with poor content, then you need to filter them through a web browser. In this case I am using Firefox, you can customize with your favorite browser.
How to block specific websites on your Firefox :
Go to Tools -> Add-ons, choose Get Add-ons tab.
There is a search bar, type ”BlockSite”. You’ll find a extension named BlockSite.
Install it, and configure it.
You can add the Blacklist or Whitelist, if you choose to blacklist, then insert as manywebsites are dangerous for your child.
To secure this blocker, enable the authentication feature.
